Homework #2--Propagator Matricies For Body And Surface Waves
1. Do Aki and Richards problems 5.8 and 7.2.
2. Starting from the Haskell-Thompson matrix formulation, verify the Rayleigh cubic equation for propagation on a uniform half-space. Note this is a special case as it demonstrates Rayleigh wave propagation without dispersion.
